Australia’s Highest SkyDive!

Today I completed my first ever SKYDIVE!!

This week is turning out to be very adventurous! I’ve been quad biking through the Daintree Rainforest, snorkeling  The Great Barrier Reef, Today I did the Sky Dive and on Friday I’m going White Water Rafting on the Tully river! Phew!

Mission Beach is Australia’s highest sky dive destination, where they drop you 14,000ft in the air. The free fall lasts one minute and glide in the parachute for four minutes. On Mission Beach you are 100% guaranteed a beach landing.

Check out their website if your interested in doing it. It’s not to be missed!!

I thought I’d be more nervous than I was! I was pretty calm until I saw the first person (I was second), go out and the camera man holding on to the side of the plane!! It all happens so so quickly!! The view from our jump was unbelievable. You see the Great Barrier Reef, four miles of Beach coastline, The Daintree Rainforest, Islands and lots lots more! The sun was setting when we did ours and we could see the moon in the sky too! It really all was surreal. A real rush!

I would recommend that if you get the chance to do this-do it! It seemed a little expensive beforehand but afterwards it was totally worth it.. It could be the highlight of my East Coast Road Trip!

Have a look at my slide show.. I think my face tells it all!! :)

That’s one more thing ticked off the bucket list!Hope you enjoyed this post! I always love hearing from others and their experiences so don’t be shy to comment!!
