JOICO is a worldwide well-known leader in professional hair products. There is a product that caters for every hair need within the line. Today I’m going to be covering some new products JOICO have recently released and I’m very excited to share some amazing results. The Joi of Healthy Hair– Love that line!

For those of you who don’t know me personally, eventually you will learn that I’m completely obsessed with hair related products! I will test and try any products of any line happily- or I will assign a friend or family member a product to see how it suits them! My hair is very thick and dry. It doesn’t get oily quickly and I use heaps of products in it to make it look tip-top. When I use a product on myself it is based on my hair type and may not suit everyone. I love diagnosing other people’s hair and recommending what would be good for them. I love looking at the ingredient list of products and seeing whats inside the bottle on a deeper level. I research ingredients if I’ve never seen them before. I’m a self-confessed hair-product geek! Now I’m going to start doing hair product reviews to share with my readers, I use so many different products all the time so why not share my product knowledge as well as all my other hairdresser tips and tricks!

When any brand comes out with a new line I’m instantly excited and curious! JOICO have just released a new line specifically designed for coloured hair called Colour Infuse Shampoos and Conditioners. Basically, they are tinted shampoos and conditioners which deposit extra colour molecules into your already coloured hair. This makes the colour last longer, refresh a faded colour, and adds gloss and shine. I got the “Intense Brown” sent to me to sample but my hair is blonde so I got Mother Marzipan on board!

Mother Marzipan was delighted to try the new JOICO shampoo and conditioner for me. I said I’d treat her to a blow dry after she used the products for me. Who couldn’t turn down such an offer?! MM didn’t have her colour done for five weeks so she was the perfect candidate to try the products. After using the products, I could see the tone of my mothers hair was instantly brighter and shinier, that’s before drying it off! Once it was dried I was severely impressed by the effects of the shampoo and conditioner. Her hair looked stunning! I gave her a body blow dry and we went outside to take some snaps of her fabulous mane.

What did Mother Marzipan think?
“I LOVE it! I’m definitely going to keep using the shampoo and conditioner”
MM used the products in accordance to manufacturers instructions “a little goes a long way!”. This is great as you don’t need to use too much product to get the job done.
“It didn’t stain my hands or scalp”– many colour shampoo and conditioners on the market require you to wear gloves to avoid ending up with bright coloured hands.
“The smell is pleasant”– many of you will know I’m very funny about smells.. These are lovely and fresh smelling!
“The shine is amazing”– I noticed the conditioner had glitter particles in it, this will help bring out a sparkling rich glow in the hair and that’s exactly what it did do!

Overall, both Mother Marzipan and myself are very impressed with the new JOICO products. I would highly recommend it to anyone who colours their hair. It also comes in Copper and Red.. and also in the same line is Blue for blondes to tone out brassy shades. I might just buy the blue one myself and see how I get on with it!
