Who doesn’t want to have luscious juicy looking lips? In this post I’m going to review a ‘plumping lip gloss’.

I first came across this product when I was online shopping from Ireland for my friend in Australia. I ordered it for her through Mecca and when she got it she raved about it, she said it was even better than the Too Faced Lip Injection.. She was so impressed I HAD to give it a go myself. I looked in Boots in Ireland when I was in there but I could never find it. Once I arrived in Toronto I saw it in Shoppers and decided to try it myself once and for all! The shade I picked is ‘Coy Toy’ and it cost $24.

I love the Soap & Glory brand, mostly for their punny packaging and finely scented products. I haven’t tried many of their products before except for the Hand Maid hand sanitiser which smells so nice and fresh!

My Review of Sexy Mother Pucker ™ Pillow Plump ™ XXL

My first impression was of the smell of the product. If you have read some of my other reviews I can be a bit funny about smells. This lip product smells slightly like chocolate. I usually like fruity and floral, anything other than that I can either love or loath the smell, like some vanilla scents I really can’t bare to use them! the scent of this product isn’t too strong so its bearable for me. Im sure other people think I’m crazy and love the smell!

I usually have chapped lips. Its how my lips are. Dry and chappy. In the description it says it’s smoothing and hydrating. I agree 100%. I put this on top of my flakey lips and they really smoothen right out and stay hydrated for hours!

The product is a beautiful glassy-gloss. It goes on very nicely. It’s not too sticky but slightly tacky enough to cling to the lips for longevity. The nib of the tube is rubber instead of hard plastic so it aids excellent control with application. The colour I selected is very natural and sheer. I love wearing this product on my no makeup days to give me a bit of somethin’.

The biggest question of all; Does it work? It tingles, zings, buzzes on the lips from 30seconds after application. I love this feeling! It’s so strange! But good!
So the tingling sensation tricks our mind into thinking your lips are growing. Its great! But are they really? Of course not! You’d need Botox for that!
I honestly think my lips felt amazing. The cracks were smoothed out, my dry bits were hydrated and the tingling (which is my favourite part) lasts so long! I timed an hour, then I pressed my lips together and it started tingling again, it was reactivated!

Be conscious when consuming food or drink. It can transfer onto your skin or tongue and cause the same reaction. Now that’s a bit uncomfortable, even for me..

I remember when I was in Secondary School (High School) I got a free ‘lip plump’ in a magazine. I have no idea what brand it was but it was crazy. It would literally give you a crazy BURNING sensation (I loved it) but I could never find anything similar. Then one Christmas I got a “Pout” lip gloss from Brown Thomas which didn’t do much at all. That brand is now gone off the market. I have to say, in comparison to those other two I tried, I do like  Sexy Mother Pucker™ Pillow Plump™ XXL best!.

If I could change anything about the product it would only be the scent. Other than that, I genuinely love it! I have seen reviews online saying its a waste, but I’m not sure what people are expecting. You won’t get bigger lips without injections! But my lips felt great with this product so I definitely immensely recommend trying it- definitely try it if you are not unrealistic, deranged or delusional, otherwise you will be disappointed!
