Colourpop Yes, Please! Palette | Swatches & Tutorial
I made my first ever Colourpop Cosmetics order recently. I was so skeptical about the brand and hesitated to order for so long. I could not believe that the Colourpop products were sold at such an affordable price and would be as good a quality as what people were making it out to be. Boy, was I proven wrong. Could Colourpop Cosmetics be my favourite newly discovered brand of 2017? Possibly!
Lets have a look at Yes, Please! Eye Shadow Palette which was part of my first Colourpop online order.
The Colourpop Yes, Please! Palette gives you 12 incredibly pigmented eyeshadows. Look at that colour scheme, I’m in love with all the warmth this palette has to offer. That pop of yellow is a magical finishing touch!
It took me a little while to realise that the names of the eyeshadows are easier read from the box when you place the box and the palette side-by-side. The names of each shadow is also listed on the back of the palette but it is confusing because the names are not directly behind the eye shadow..
I can not get over the price of the palette. $16USD! Now, I did get the impression the palette was going to be a little larger in size, but I didn’t complain when I received it, especially for that price! The swatches speak for themselves..
The formula of each and every eyeshadow is super pigmented. They all perform very well applied onto the eyelid and there are a multitude of looks that you could create from this amazing palette.
Here’s a look I created with the Yes, Please Palette.

I am so impressed with the quality of Colourpop Cosmetics. Customs is the bane of my life, I got charged $19 when this package arrived at my door which takes the fun out of it a little bit. The joys of ordering from the states when living in Canada. I got a few other products with this order and I recently placed another order Colourpop too! Can’t wait to get them. Also, Colourpop is now more readily available (sans custom fees) through Sephora! Woohoo!
Does anybody else own this palette and love it as much as I do? This is the palette I would take travelling with me and that in itself will tell you how much I love this palette! Hope you enjoy the tutorial, let me know if you want me to create another one using the same palette :)
