Juliette Armand Thavma Facial with Cliona in Beautique, Cork

Have you ever had a facial that felt like it was making a huge difference to the appearance to your skin? For the first time in my life I’ve seen immediate results to my skin after having the Juliette Armand Thavma Facial with Cliona in Beautique in Cork.

The Juliette Armand Thavma Facial is a peel which contains a high percentage of glycolic acid and “EFFECTOX” technology which helps relax the muscles naturally, this is why the miracle facial has gained the nickname “alternative to Botox facial”. It is targeted towards people in their mid-twenties to early thirties as an introductory to professional skin facials for skin that is about to start the aging process. Cliona emphasizes that what you do with your skin in your 20’s will impact the appearance of your skin in years to come. There are different types of facials for different types of skin and the Thavma Therapy is the one Cliona recommended to me in our consultataion.

During my consultation with Cliona, we sat down together and discussed my skin type and concerns. My main concern was texture appearing on my skin and my forehead lines, I also have quite sensitive skin.

The facial began with gentle cleansing of the skin. Then the peel was applied. Cliona kept a close eye on my skin as this is the most “invasive” part of the facial and the peel tingles after a few minutes. Cliona thought that maybe my skin would react to this peel quickly because of my sensitivity and didn’t leave it on too long. After my second and third time having the facial the peel did not tingle as much and I was able to leave it on a little longer. It is not uncomfortable or remotely invasive in my opinion but is important to know that this is what may happen if you decide to try it out for yourself.

After the peel was removed I received two different masks on my skin, one for my neck and cheek area and the other one around my eyes and forehead. Once the masks were well rested on my skin they were removed and I received a fabulous facial massage followed up with an eye contouring cream, Skin Boosters Thavma Serum and Skin Boosters Thavma Moisturizer.

The experience of getting the facial is extremely relaxing and I was almost blinded by my glow when I looked in the mirror afterwards! I was unable to raise my eyebrows as much as before the facial relaxing my forehead muscles and my eyes felt wider and more awake. I felt like a new woman! I was so shocked at the immediate results!

Results from our @juliette_armand_ie Thavma Therapy Facial alternative to Botox! The 1st before and after is the client raising her eyebrows. It is so important to use the Juliette Armand skincare at home. This will keep the peel at optimum results for as long as possible. I used the Juliette Armand Skin Boosters Thavma Serum and Moisturiser and I will review these products in a follow up blog post.

I would highly recommend booking in with Cliona in Beautique in Cork. The location is perfect, especially if you don’t want to be seen after treatments, the salon is located in a perfectly private area just outside Cork City. If you’re too far from Cork, you can also look up Juliette Armand website and search for a location near you who uses Juliette Armand for their treatments. Each salon varies in price for their treatments so please consult with the salon you have chosen to book in with.

It is recommended to get a course of Thavma Facials in close proximity to each other. I received three in total and was seeing the results up to three months after my third facial. I will definitely Be going back to Cliona for more and I’m also thinking about trying out microneedling – I’ll let you know if I try it in a follow up blog post!
